GRIMES, IA, October 9, 2013 – Anime producer and distributor Right Stuf, Inc. and Nozomi Entertainment are pleased to announce the ANTIQUE BAKERY DVD Collection will be released on February 4, 2014.

 

This new, value-priced DVD set will feature the complete 12-episode anime with Japanese audio and English-language subtitles. On-disc extras will include the clean opening and closing, live event coverage, and an interview with AKB48 member Tomomi Kasai, who voices a supporting role in the series.

 

Antique Bakery aired as part of Fuji TV’s popular noitaminA animation block – home to series including Honey and Clover, Paradise Kiss, Moyashimon (Tales of Agriculture) and Nodame Cantabile. It features animation byNippon Animation (The Wallflower, Fantastic Children) and Shirogumi, Inc. (Moyashimon: Tales of Agriculture), plus opening and closing music by the R&B duo Chemistry and performances by a cast of fan-favorite actors that includes Keiji Fujiwara (“Maes Hughes” in Fullmetal Alchemist, “Holland” in Eureka Seven), Shinichiro Miki (“Allen” in Escaflowne, “Kurz Weber” in Full Metal Panic!), Mamoru Miyano (“Light” in Death Note, “Tamaki” in Ouran High Host Club), and Eiji Hanawa (“Dumas” in Fantastic Children).
