Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 is a remake of the PS3 Hyperdimension Neptunia V developed by Compile Heart, while Neptunia V was published by Nippon Ichi Software the remake Neptunia Re;Birth3 was published by Idea Factory. As a remake there are some differences from Neptunia V, however there are far fewer differences than were seen with the previous remakes Re;Birth 1 and Re;Birth 2 and of course the remake system is present in Re;Birth3 as it was in the previous  games, the remake system allows the player to make adjustments to a few aspects of the game such as difficulty and the ability to expand the inventory of shops.

The story picks up where Hyperdimension MK2 (or Re;Birth 2) left off and in a twist of events the heroine Neptune gets teleported into a 1989 version of Gamindustri where she meets past versions of the other CPUs and Plutia who is also the CPU Iris Heart. Neptune must collect enough shares to make it back to her own world  while fighting through what was the very beginning of the war between the four nations, on Neptune's quest to get back to her world she learns about the past of the  CPUs that she already knows from her world  and about the newly introduces CPU Iris Heart.

Though the plot is the same as Victory there are a few differences such as the characters themselves pointing out that it is a remake at the start of the game, some of the other differences will become more obvious towards the end of the game as they aren't as forward. Just like previous games in the series it features many references to anime and other video games as well a colorful and cheery anime art style which adds to the overall tone of the game and of course there is no shortage of witty humor. While the game has many good points it unfortunately lacks variety in its soundtrack and while the witty humor is great it has gotten a little dry and at times unsavory over time, this has replaced the innocent charm that was present in the very first game in the Neptunia series that made the game so lovable.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 is an improvement as far as gameplay goes thanks to a few changes, but still lacks a few things that were in the very first game in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 is an improvement from Victory and is worth giving a shot if you are a fan of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series.
