Best OVA at Anime Expo 2002, Manga Entertainment might just
have them selves something too hot to handle. The three
episode OVA, Read or Die AKA ROD is set for its release this
May. After several delays, we have some interesting info on
this DVD.
The
story will follow the adventures of Yomiko Readman, a teacher
by day, a secret agent by night. Like most unexpected heroes,
she is suckered into saving the world, when rare volumes of a
lost Beethoven text needs to be taken back. The DVD will
feature you standard set up like 5.1 Dolby Digital English &
Japanese Audio, 2.0 Dolby Digital English & Japanese Audio,
English Subtitles. On top of that we will be getting the
Original Trailer, Historical Biographies, Photo Gallery,
Director & Crew Interview, Free Poster, Manga Previews, Fan
Club & DVD Catalog.
The
release date has been set for May 27, 2003, just about a month
away. Look out for a review to this, because this short but
sweet OVA is going to be something big.
