Santa Ana, Calif. (December 12, 2014) – NIS America is happy to announce that we will be bringing a limited edition of Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea to North America on March 10, 2015, and Europe on March 13, 2015 for the PlayStation®3! The limited edition will be available exclusively at the NISA Online Store and NISA Europe Online Store. Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea closes the final chapter in the Atelier Dusk series and tells the tale of the two Shallies as they begin their voyage to find a resolution for the people of their dying homeland.

About the game:

Choose to play as either the reserved, mission-focused Shallistera or as ambitious, energetic Shallotte. While their personalities and appearance are drastically different, both girls share the nickname "Shallie." Shallistera is the daughter of a tribal leader who embarks on a voyage to find a solution to the crisis affecting her homeland. Shallotte, on the other hand, has been struggling to bring success to the alchemy workshop since the passing of her father. Uncover each of their journeys using the dual main character system, which has been improved with multiple separate stories and endings for Shallistera and Shallotte.

Key points:

• Updated Synthesis system – This updated synthesis system has been made easier to understand compared to the systems in Atelier Ayesha and Atelier Escha & Logy. Synthesis is performed by accessing the alchemy cauldron at the atelier using a “recipe” as blueprints to make items. As the game progresses, players learn new skills, which helps create truly unique items.

• Customizable Quest system – Players can choose to either take on only assignments necessary to progress the game or earn more points engaging in additional, more challenging quests. These “Life Tasks” are customizable objectives that allow for a player-centric goal management system, fitting to various different play styles.

• 360 degree camera – This new feature gives players more freedom as they explore a vast world map. The world map has been expanded greatly with many new environments and evolves based on how the player progresses.
