It’s that time of the year again, that time in which we all have that one magical week off. Some have March break next week, others will have some kind of vacation during this month. (I mean come on look at all this snow!)

Well whatever boat you’re in, a week to your self is on its way… So what are you going to do? Go to Cuba? Florida perhaps? Clean the house? If you are, you really shouldn’t bother, leave that for the non-anime fan. The hardcore fan will spend this week watching anime! Or hosting an anime fest, whatever floats your boat. Below are some useful (or useless) tips to help you out!

First, what you need!

• DVD Player, because anime is only good watched on these
   

• Friends, meh they gotta be useful for something
   

• Drinks, particularly those that are high in caffeine like Coke, because this isn’t suppose to be a one episode view session. Your fest should be an all day and night thing…
   

• Kleenex, for those friends that need to hit the washroom after all those beverages. Hey they might not wash there hands… do you want to touch a DVD remote that has been in there hands?
   

• 2^nd box of Kleenex, leave this in the washroom if you plan to watch some Hentai. With people these days, you never know :)
   

• Cash, to order some Pizza, really who wants to cook during a time like this?
   

• A Fan, because being cramped up in a room with several bodies watching anime can get hot really fast. Sure, you could open the window… but… it’s cold outside!

Titles you need

• Beyblade, threaten to play this if you have someone acting out of line
   

• Bubblegum Crisis 2040 Perfect Collection, you want to do something insane? Watch the whole thing in one night.
   

• Neon Genesis Evangelion Perfect Collection, what ever you do, don’t watch this in one night. I did that one time… I was afraid to sleep for a week.
   

• End of Evangelion, since I know you will not listen to me; finish that off with this… I never did this… and I never will…
   

• Chobits, need to toss a new release title in there... plus this is quite amusing.
   

• Cowboy Bebop Best Sessions, because we all need to hear some fierce 5.1 DTS audio!
   

• Dragon Half, watch this if people are starting to get sleepy
   

• Excel Saga, if all else fails to wake them up, use this
   

• His and Her Circumstances, great series to pass the time
   

• Noir, do I really have to put a reason?
   

• Revolutionary Girl: The Movie, to make your friends go “Whoa”

As for Hentai

I can’t really suggest too many titles, mostly because I’m not quite the Hentai expert…  Really, I am not! But there is one title I can recommend…F3, because you wont stop laughing. And the title to avoid? Twisted Tales of Tokyo… why? Because it’s TWISTED! Really, this title is just bad on so many different levels… but some how I feel some people will not listen to me… With that said, just, make sure you got that Kleenex in the washroom.

And that’s all there is to it, how you do it, where you do it, and what titles you use is totally up to you I supposed. But what ever you end up doing… keep it anime this time off!
