It's been way too long since I’ve written a column… especially an anime one. (In fact I think this is my first) Writing for the gaming industry, for the last 4 years tends to do that to you.

So here, we are with a rather pathetic example of an opening paragraph in this new column for Otaku Aniverse. Now I’m sure many of you are wondering… what will this column consist of? And will it be updated normally? Well as the name suggests… this will be my space to say my bit on the anime world. Will it be updated often? I assure you, it will be much better than my last column I've written, titled Ed’s Views a few yeas back on Gaming Media.

You’ve likely read different columns from time to time of people ranting or praising stuff about anime… What will make this one different from the rest? I debate about… odd topics. I’m very picky with my localization with anime for an example, especially logos…

Central Park Media has revealed some new details to the Alien 9 Graphic Novel. Set for a release this May 14th. Guess what? We got a picture of the first issue.

One of the first things you’ll likely notice that its more or less the same as the Japanese one. Or is it?

Sure, they’ve got the main image of the three characters standing, they are even using the same picture to identify the volume number. Hell they have even placed Hitoshi Tomizama’s name on the left bottom side, unlike the Japanese one, having it cover up some of the art. What is my point? Look at the logo…

Yes, I know, they would have had to change it up to have it in English… but did they have to go that far? It’s almost totally different from the Japanese one!

I could go on… but I think my time has run out… Look out for another episode of The Eddie Equation coming soon… And I promise to have some more interesting and longer things to say, unlike the one above. As always, I would love to hear of your comments of this. Feel free to send any feedback to staff@otakuaniverse.com
