I'll make today's update short and sweet!

It’s hard to believe, but today makes 1 full year of us being online. And while we have no birthday cake, or anything else that would make things seem like an anniversary. There is one thing you can count on seeing right now… me… And more DVD giveaways!

Just a brief history, Otaku Aniverse launched November 11^th, 2002. And since that day, we’ve ran into nothing but a rush of traffic, especially after our famous interview with the North American manga artist Kathryn Williams. In the last year we’ve been online, we have managed to produce 40 DVD reviews, 12 manga reviews bringing us to a grad total of 52 reviews. 20 Previews, 11 features 3 of them cons reports, and finally 3 columns with a total of 5 updates. Quite impressive since we never have more than 2 people producing content for the publication on average.

To celebrate, our anniversary as well, we will be holding, by far the biggest and largest DVD giveaway we’ve ever done. When we’ll be having this contest isn’t known 100% just yet. But expect it to be posted on the main page in a few days. We’d have the contest now but our e-mail is still down… Yeah getting back on that topic, we’ll have those up shortly… now that we know what the REAL problem is and is attacking it.

Well it seems my time has run out here… Let me take this time to thank you all for supporting us during the last year, and reading our content and most importantly, coming back for more!
